What You Will Need To Receive a Library Card

To receive a library card you must present a photo ID and proof of residency. A postcard will be mailed to your address. When you return with the postcard, you will have full access to all of the library resources.

Example Forms of ID:

-Driver’s License/ID
-School ID
-Military ID
-Passport

Example Proof of Residency:

-Piece of Mail
-Utility Bill
-Lease/deed agreement
-Voter's Registration Card


What You Can Do With Your Library Card

You can check out 20 items total at a time (books, audiobooks), 10 of those items can be DVD’s.

Online Account

Your library card number can be used to log-in to the online catalog account.
Through the online account you can:
 -place holds on books
 -view items checked out
 -renew items checked out
 -view any fines on your account
 -save lists of titles
 -manage contact information

R.E.A.D.S.

Your library card number can be used to log into READS where you can check out eBooks and audiobooks with the option to download them to your eReader.

Herald Citizen

Your library card number gives you access to the News Bank resources through the Herald Citizen.

Tumblebooks

With your library card number you can access the Tumblebook library to explore animated books for children.
