The following list are resources available to all patrons of Putnam County Library, but are most useful to our adult and teen patrons:
TEL – the Tennessee Electronic Library is a collection of databases and reference resources for a variety of subjects. To access simply click the TEL link on the library’s homepage, find the resource you are looking for from an easy to navigate webpage and start searching. The following is a list of just a few of the many and varied resources at your disposal on TEL:

World Book Encyclopedia – A digital collection of the famous world book encyclopedia
PowerSpeak Languages – A digital resource for learning and practicing new languages.
Gale Power Search –A database of popular magazines, scholarly journals, e-books, newspapers, and more covering a variety of subjects including art, health, science, humanities, literature, and much more.
Career Transitions – Search for new job opportunities and find ways to match your work and military experience with new career options. Get help building a resume and cover letters as well tips for giving a better interview.
Small Business Resource Center – A resource that can give you answers to your many questions about starting a small business as well as sample business plans, articles from business magazines, and e-books on management.
Learning Express Library – A collection of test-prep e-books, tutorials, and practice tests to help students and professionals alike.
Help4TN – legal and social service resources
Chapter16 – a website that contains information and reviews specific to Tennessee authors and books.
